Inspired by a little bit of everything, Dee grew up swooning along with her radio. She cultivated her silky smooth vocals in a church choir throughout elementary & high school. Plucking away at her piano as she went. Known to her family as the human juke box. She was always singing. Family vacations, on the way to the grocery store, throughout the years this hasn't changed. You can often find her playing open Mic's around the Lower Mainland if she is not touring, in the studio or singing the National Anthem in a stadium for all kinds of sporting events across the country.

For the last 8 years Dee has been playing through out southern Alberta & BC. Recording her first album in 2010 to hone her skills as a songwriter & have the experience of being in the vocal booth.

In the summer of 2013, Dee was the opening act for Kingdoom/Chris Vienna & The JFR Project during HMP's 5 city Western Canadian Tour. In October of 2015 she released her song Mary, a tribute to her 23 year old cousin who passed away from drinking & driving. Since its release, Mary has been shopped to MADD Canada for their school party programs, been a Semi Finalist in CBC's Searchlight competition in 2016 & was a Finalist in the 2018 Canadian Songwriting Competition.

Her sound & style has developed into a mix of old school glamour, pin up rockabilly chic & Southern Soul. Her strong vocals make a point of perfectly delivering lyrics with emotion & control that has been likened to Adele, Pink, Joan Jett & Janis Joplin.

Dee's main goal as an artist is to bring her personal stories to life. She is currently knee deep in the songwriting & recording process with plans to release her 1st of many singles fall of 2020.
